Our Medha volunteer Manidipa Kapas recently visited this place and met with the kids and the staff who are changing lives, with your support.

Established in 2002, Mukti’s main focus is on the rehabilitation of the addicted railway platform kids who are abandoned by their parents or society. As a part of rehabilitation Mukti offers formal education as well as vocational and life skill training such as driving, carpentry, cooking, etc. Mukti aims to provide gainful employment through such programs for its students. MedhaUSA funds Mukti in its initiative to empower these children through mainstream integration.
